The wonders of modern technology -- camera phone! ;)

And no.. I'm not close to Barnes & Noble... I guess I'm closer to Borders. I don't see why that matters?

Oh, sure. But the kinds of books coming out these days... ugh! I hardly ever step into Borders any more looking for quality books to read... I usually can find them at my local public library.
Books coming out these days should be recycled even before they are read!

I think it's cuz I like to do a lot more thinking and observing than talking... hence, I (and apparently you too) can't make my characters really talk... but I can have them think away to eternity!! ;)

yeah, exactly... i make my characters the only way i know, which is to be the way i am which is to think and observe... which makes for fiction writing with TONS of symbolism and imagery and such, that seems to be how you write as well- i comes out kindof, at least for me, like dramatic science fiction- not space age but SURREAList maybe?
