Ex nihilo

In a moment's instance then Which could have been 100 billion years in the past Which could have been 100 billion years in the future Antithesis reversed Battled, wrestled, Ripped and spewed From its bosom charring inferno And in an explosive cry Of defeat And despair And of destitution It succumbed to the void of existence To the fatigue of eternity. Then nothing was created And nothing gave birth. And today Because of nothing you and I are here.

i am confused--i agree and i disagree with "because of nothing you and i are here" am i just supposed to take your word for it? i think the becuse is to ambiguous in this! because of nothing? you wouldnever have an idea of nothing without the something existing in the first place...i mean, everything is caused by something else-there is never any baby without sex, there is never any flower without sun...originally there was "nothing" in some sense, no baby and no flower, but there is always was a some - thing which caused the thing from nothing...a sun to initiate light and a man to initiate, well, anyways you get the point...
